Wynward is proud to be a progressive and inclusive work environment – and nothing highlights those values better than the formation of the Women of Wynward (WOW) leadership group at our offices across the country!
WOW was formed to promote professional development and an awareness of gender and equality. WOW plans events open to all Wynward employees to promote learning, open discussion and support for each other’s goals.
For their inaugural event, WOW held Lunch & Learn sessions, where staff from our four locations watched Amy Cuddy’s TED Talk “Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are.” The talk focuses on how our physical body language can boost confidence and introduces the concept of “power posing,” a way to increase our feelings of confidence and power! After the video, the groups discussed questions about Cuddy’s research and their own views of body language.
